PREPARE & DEVELOP JOB SEARCH

Once your job goals have been targeted, resumes and application letters can be tailored to reflect your qualifications as they relate to the interests of prospective employers. Because the job search documents will create a first impression to a potential employer, your goal should be to prepare documents that are professionally written and contain content that ensures you will stand out among your competition. Be sure to become familiar with the many different types of job search documents ranging from hard copy to web-based to e-mail attached resumes and cover letters, to name a few. Many employers now require applicants to first apply on-line before an interview can be confirmed, so it is very important for you to know how to apply for a position through a variety of methods.
