Which on-campus activities were you involved in as a student? How did those activities assist you in attaining your career goals?

Big Brother and Big Sisters.  It gave me the passion to want to guide students on their way on being career curious. In addition, because I always had mentors and guidance throughout my career as a student, accountant and auditor, it made me aware that this is what I wanted to do early on.

Please detail your career accomplishments. How will your career path help you to be successful in the position which you are being nominated for?

I graduated with my BS in accounting at JWU (North Miami), I graduated from ST. Thomas University with my MBA with a specialization in Accounting and a Graduate Certificate in Forensic Accounting, I have a CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner) Certification, and I am scheduled to take the first part of the CPA exam on April 1, 2008.

Please list what skills and/or qualities you will bring to the council to help take the council to the next level.

    • I’m a decision maker
    • I work well with others
    • My audit back ground allows me to be analytical, explain processes, and determine best practices.
    • I’ve worked effectively with management to determine the best processes available.
    • I could connect well with all students, because I was one not to long ago.
    • I am an Associate student member of the Miami Dade Business and Finance Academy.
    • I am responsible for the enrolling about 7 people into ST. Thomas University within a 2 year period (Peers, co-workers, friends). Word of month and assistant with paper work.

What are your visions/goals for the council over the next two years?

To act in the best interested of the students and to determine the best possible way to guide them in their career goals.
