Which on-campus activities were you involved in as a student? How did those activities assist you in attaining your career goals?

As a student at Johnson & Wales University I served on many capacities of student activities to residential life.  For nearly two years I served as a residential assistant at Minden Hall.  This position has allowed for me to enhance my communication and people skills, having to manage and service over 150 students.

During my senior year I worked as the Editor-In-Chief of the Campus Herald.  This position provided leadership and management growth both on a macro and micro level.  I was able to obtain and maintain many working relationships that helped push me to my career path now.

Please detail your career accomplishments. How will your career path help you to be successful in the position which you are being nominated for?

My work as media relations assistant; Editor-In-Chief of the Campus Herald; allowed me to see all communications works with a keen of scrutiny.  My attention to detail is great as a result.

Please list what skills and/or qualities you will bring to the council to help take the council to the next level.

Eye for Detail; Very outspoken yet respectful; Great communication skills

What are your visions/goals for the council over the next two years?

I can see the council growing into what I would call a small enterprise.  The level of communication would be at an all-time high, and everyone within the council working as a unit.  Within the first three months, I plan to absorb as much as possible from the council in terms of inter-workings and processes so that I would be a force for new initiates.  I plan to have one great initiate down which would be able to be built on for the next years to come.
