Which on-campus activities were you involved in as a student? How did those activities assist you in attaining your career goals?
On campus I was on the CAT team and worked with admissions to provide tours/Open House for interested candidates also on the team that Doug Fitzgerald had to encompass college of business students/leaders,PLC, and traveled with Prof. Tomassi & Gounaris to Italy for a term.
Please detail your career accomplishments. How will your career path help you be successful in the position whcih yo uare being nominated for?
Well I think high level wise, I was the youngest Branch Manager & then City Manager that Enterprise Rent -A-Car had in the North East (21) Consultant for BCG - which is know as a leader in the industry. Member of team that opened the Charlotte JWU Campus - later spent over a year as the Director for International Relations and traveled to over 20 countries for JWU. Currently promoted to a Vice President at Bank of America in our Global Corporate Investment Bank. My team hires a significant number of associates into our leadership programs across the Bank.
Please list what skills and/or qualities you will bring to the council to help take the council to the next level.
Leadership that will unite the alum to the current students and develop a network that does not exist currently here. Teamwork that will allow us to be more productive across our colleges. Execution that will deliver results. I currently meet with 4 JWU college of business students monthly and have helped more obtain jobs within the financial service industry.
What are your visions/goals for the council over teh next two years?
Keeping it simple year one "Building the foundation" - first identify goals such as: Alumni scholarship - we need to give back to our alma matter Second create opportunities for our current students to have mentors and active contacts. Third establish a network among the alum in the area that will allow us to share best practices and contacts Fundraising of course - golf tournament, local initiatives, and sponsorships.
