Lewis Xin Luo, ’99, MBA Alumni Council international representative, has a diversified background with operations in business initiatives, management, strategic development, and implementation environments. Currently, Lewis serves as a market-entry consultant and principal in assisting small business owners to tap into the Asian market as well as an advocate for global trade for China’s market-specified applications. He is employed with Irvine Trucks Centre as the GMC and GM/Isuzu Commercial Trucks Representative in Toronto, Canada. At the University, Lewis is the register of the Chinese Student Association (CSA) and served as the president of the Association from 1997-1999. Lewis organized many campus events and activities, including the Graduate School’s Chinese Spring Festival, Chinese Calligraphy, painting performance, and a trip to the Chinese Embassy in New York City. Lewis is currently one of the representatives for the J&W international student recruitment. As a member of the Alumni Association, Lewis has participated in the RI Food Bank “give help” activities in 2001 and 2002 and served as a member of the Alumni Council nomination committee in 2003.
