faqs What is the Johnson & Wales University Alumni Association? The Alumni Association is a network of over 68,000 JWU graduates University-wide. Upon graduation, all Johnson & Wales alumni automatically become members of the Alumni Association. How do I obtain a transcript? Get all the details on requesting a transcript. What types of alumni memorabilia do you sell? A variety of alumni merchandise is available for purchase online. I haven't received any mail from JWU. How can I start receiving mail? We may not have a current address for you. To start receiving mail or to change your address, please update your address. How can I share news about myself (birth, promotion, award, further education, etc.)? You can submit a class note. All class notes are posted in alum-to-alum. A smaller group of selected class notes will be included in the publication of the JWU Magazine. How can I locate other alumni? You can register for the JWU Alumni eCommunity and search the alumni directory; or you can email a request to the Office of Alumni Relations. How do I get to JWU? Please visit the Johnson & Wales website and select the particular campus for directions. How can I become more involved in JWU activities? There are many ways to become a more active alum. See get involved to find an area of interest for you. You can also contact the Office of Alumni Relations for more information on ways to get involved. How can I get access to University Facilities (i.e. Library, Computer Lab, etc.) The JWU Providence Campus now offers Alumni access ID cards which can be purchased from the Downcity Campus Safety & Security Office for $5.00. For more information, please visit the Safety & Security website. My Alumni Access ID card is not working correctly at campus facilities. How do I get this fixed? If by chance your alumni id access card is not working correctly at any one of the accessed campus facilities, visit the Downcity Campus Safety & Security Office or e-mail them for further assistance. How can I request a new or updated membership card? If you have lost your membership card or changed your name, please email your name, address, and class year. You will receive an updated membership card within 4-6 weeks. How can I get an alumni membership card? You must be a registered member of the alumni eCommunity to receive a membership card. All alumni will receive their membership card automatically within 4-6 weeks of registration. What are the benefits available to alumni? You can stay connected with JWU with a variety of services and benefits. When is the library open? Visit a campus library for office hours and information. I need help with employment assistance. How am I able to get assistance from JWU? The Career Development Office offers a variety of programs to assist alumni in achieving their career goals. From career fairs and development seminars to networking receptions and our web-based Online Career Center, alumni are able to contact recruiters from a variety of organizations and industries to assist with their employment search. The University has a 24-hour/7 day a week, web-based talent posting system. Please contact alumni.careers@jwu.edu 401-598-1070 to set up your posting.
