Upon graduation, Nason took a job with the University as an admissions representative, educating and recruiting potential students in Massachusetts about the opportunities available to them at Johnson & Wales. After two years with the University, Nason began his hospitality career at the Hyatt Regency Hilton Head in South Carolina. He served as a guest service agent, working at the front desk in reservations, at banquets and in the restaurants and lounges. Nason then moved to a sales manager position at the West Palm Beach Airport Hilton. In a few months, Nason joined the Crossroads Hospitality Company, Holiday Inn as the sales manager. His job responsibilities included fully developing corporate, athletic and education markets at distressed properties. After more than two years with Holiday Inn, Nason embarked on a career path that would find him at properties in both Florida and Massachusetts. He became Director of Sales at the Sheraton Suites Cypress Creek in Fort Lauderdale, then went to Massachusetts to become Director of Sales at Sheraton Needham. a year later, Nason would become the Senior Account Director at the Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Sheraton Boston. He has since moved back to Florida as the Director of Sales at the Don Ce Sar Beach Resort & Spa. |
