Tracey Nguyen started climbing the ladder to success when she began her college
career at Johnson & Wales. As the Class of 1998 commencement speaker, she
was recognized by Glamour Magazine in their feature on great commencement speeches
by women graduates.
After graduation, Tracey concentrated on her marketing and communication strengths, moving to New York City to work for PricewaterhouseCoopers. However, a year later, a week-long visit to her birthplace, Vietnam, changed her life and career completely. Combining fashion and a business sense, Tracey and her sister tapped into the market of manufacturing women's shoes and accessories and thus, Tu-Anh LLC was born.
Three years later, Tu-Anh shoes and accessories have been featured in many fashion magazines including InStyle, Glamour, and Lucky, as well as on the "Today" show and are sold in specialty boutiques across the U.S. Tracey handles the company's office in New York City and oversees business developments with retail clients and the press. She has also recently joined The Doneger Group, a fashion-consulting firm, as manager of online services.
