Senior Finance Auditor, Johnson & Johnson
Upon
graduation, Shurlon made the move to Wall Street, joining the Bank of
New York management transitioned to Chase Manhattan Bank, then to Pricewaterhouse
Coopers, working
with top Fortune up the ranks quickly and was promoted to senior auditor.
Shurlon also
started his own firm, EGP Associates, advising small business and non-profit
organizations
services. Now at Johnson & Johnson, he has the opportunity to travel
to various parts of Europe,
auditor for the world's most comprehensive and broadly based manufacturer
of health care products.
Outside of work, Shurlon is a certified speaker with Monster.com. He visits middle schools and talking to students about educational success and college options.
Other activities include serving Leaders of America student chapter and chairperson of the Church Internal Audit group. Shurlon Coalition, National Association for Black Accountants, and the Institute of Internal Auditors.
