Support Academic and university community Programs

JWU PA students in labJohnson & Wales University continually seeks to provide new learning opportunities and enhanced experiences for its students. As part of 2017: The Centennial Plan, the university is strengthening academic programs through an expanded system of performance metrics, redesigning and implementing its arts and sciences core curriculum, introducing new professional graduate programs and enriching and increasing opportunities for global learning.

Programmatic and curricular innovation is an important part of the effort to promote student engagement. The university has reinforced its commitment to interdisciplinary academic programs; extended inter-institutional relationships to add to the academic life of the university; and established a Center for Culinary Innovation

Deepening student engagement also includes a number of university community initiatives. The university is committed to promoting tradition, community spirit and affinity; providing services commensurate with their needs to commuter, international, non-traditional and graduate students. The health and well-being of students is also a concern of the university which will embrace a holistic approach to wellness through program development, service delivery and outreach.
